Migrating Old Layouts

This page will assist you when prompted to migrate your old layout.

If you're using an outdated layout model, you'll be prompted to migrate to the new version before you can access your portal.

We have updated our layout model to remove the separation of desktop and mobile layouts. While having separate controls is nice, we felt that it adds an unnecessary step and requires more maintenance than is necessary. Mobile layouts now dynamically align with the desktop layout. Note: Spacers are not displayed on mobile devices.

Assuming you're here because of this message:

This portal is currently running on an outdated layout model. Please migrate to the latest version to continue.

To migrate to the new layout, visit the updated layout editor screen. It will automatically attempt to migrate your layout to the new model in the background. If successful, you will see the name change to "... (migrated)".

If this doesn't work, ensure you're on the most up-to-date version of Squeegee. If it's still not working after that, please contact support: [e-mail]
